American Saddlebred to Perform at Kentucky’s Hats Off Day
Published Date: Jul 27, 2018
Haily Miller and CHMiner’s Blessing will represent the American Saddlebred at Hats Off Day tomorrow, Saturday, July 28, 2018. Hats Off Day is the only day that guests can visit the Kentucky Horse Park free of charge and learn firsthand how the horse industry impacts the state of Kentucky. Area horse farms and organizations hand out free souvenir hats and the crowd enjoys children’s activities including pony rides and inflatable games. The American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) will have an educational booth set up in the interior concession area of the Rolex Stadium to give away breed information and promotional items from ASHA, the United Professional Horsemen’s Association and the American Saddlebred Museum to the expected 13,000 to 15,000 attendees. Equestrian breed demonstrations begin at 7:00 pm, followed by the wildly popular Rood and Riddle Kentucky Grand Prix.
What better way to expose our breed than to have CHMiner’s Blessing, the current Reserve World’s Champion of Champions in the Junior Exhibitor Park division, and his young rider Haily Miller, daughter of Michele and Dr. Mark Miller of Nicholasville, Kentucky, perform for the horse loving crowd! The team, trained by Stephanie Sedlacko Brannan and Chris Brannan of Wingswept Farm, will lead the breed demonstrations. Thanks to the Millers and Brannans for their time and efforts to showcase our breed at this grand event.
