The Michigan horse spectacular which was held November 16-18 at the beautiful birch run expo center, located in birch run, Michigan. The American Saddlebred horse association of Michigan (ASHAM) presented a booth to help promote, preserve & educate our beautiful horse the American Saddlebred. We were warmly welcomed with visitors coming to the booth for information and just to admire their sheer beauty from watching them on the DVD that was playing "image of excellence". We had all the information displayed on the table for the possible Saddlebred lover to look over. This was the first time at this expo that the American Saddlebred was ever represented and it worked out well. The person in charge of the expos is Heidi Madsen of ASHAM. It was really thrilling to talk with people who use to have Saddlebreds and listen to their sheer passion and love for the breed. ASHAM is looking forward to the 2008 expo and introducing more people to the horse we love the American Saddlebred.
