National Academy Championship Finals Sends Check for St. Jude's Children's Hospital for $28,000
Lexington, Kentucky - A check for the amount of $28,000 has been sent to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, from the National Academy Championship Finals, making this the largest donation thus far.
In the past 10 years, the organization has given over $168,000 to St. Jude's. Thanks to all the wonderful supporters, exhibitors, parents, Grand parents, and instructors for believing in this unique, one of a kind show for the Academy Rider. The show has seen an explosion the past three past years, proving once again that this show is providing new growth to our industry. A total of 827 entries from 14 states converged upon Murfreesboro, Tennessee to compete for the crown of National Academy Champion.
The awards are worth the grueling three-day event: $12,900 in U.S. Savings Bonds, a Jeffries pro show Saddle donated by Winner's Circle of Shelbyville, Tennessee, and a $1,000 Scholarship to William Woods University, make it all worth the trip.
Dates for the 2012 show season will be Nov 2-4, at Miller Coliseum in Mufreesboro, Tennessee. It's An Event You Will Never Forget! Come "CATCH THE VISION!"
