American Saddlebred magazine, which has a circulation of more than 8,000, is published five times a year with a special issue in January (March/April, May/June, July/August, September/October, and American Saddlebred Reference Directory). The publication is issued free to ASHA members, the subscription price is included in the annual membership fee.
American Saddlebred is available to non-members of the Association for an annual subscription fee of $40. The magazine subscription also includes the Reference Book, a special issue of the American Saddlebred magazine.
Mission Statement
American Saddlebred magazine is the official publication of the American Saddlebred Horse Association and as such is dedicated to the welfare of the American Saddlebred horse. American Saddlebred magazine is to be informative and educational, addressing such topics as the registry, rules, bloodlines and history. It must articulate the various programs of the Association and also address subjects pertaining to all facets of the equine industry. American Saddlebred magazine is pledged to the promotion of the American Saddlebred in all disciplines, without favoritism toward any one person, horse or bloodline.
