Minutes shall be kept of any and all meetings (regular or special) of the Board of Directors. The minutes shall be transcribed within forty-five (45) days after any meeting. A copy of the minutes shall be published by the Association electronically, or in the Association magazine, or other Saddlebred publication, after approval by the Board of Directors. Notice of availability of minutes which have been approved by the Board of Directors shall be published in the magazine and made available to any member in good standing within seven (7) days upon request.
Please note -- following their preparation, minutes are circulated to the directors for review and comment. Minutes are then corrected and/or approved at the next duly noticed meeting of the board. For example, minutes of the meeting(s) at the annual convention are not considered and/or approved until the mid-year meeting. Similarly, minutes of the mid-year meeting are not considered until the fall meeting, and so forth.
